#STOP#S T O P#I JUST CAN’T OKAY#Wash becomes the ship’s full-time manny and loves every second of it#even during the terrible twos when they both take turns chewing on the ship’s wiring#and wash makes everyone play tea time including mal#inara actually gets frustrated the first few times with how NO ONE IS ADHERING TO THE RULES OF TEA NO TEAPOTS ARE NOT HATS#River is the best at make-believe and hide-and-seek#everyone calls the kids ”the twins” because they refuse to be separated#Mal is accidentally awesome at babies and pretends he isn’t#Zoe is terrified at being a mom but she’s the best goddamn mama bear the ‘verse has ever seen and wash tells her so all the time#Jayne’s mom makes the twins little booties and Jayne lets them walk all over him (literally)#stop this train of feels i want to get off#;____;

Also: can we talk about Alan Tudyk’s face when he  tells Summer OF COURSE SHE WOULD HAVE TO BE THE PILOT, THERE ARE ABOUT TO BE BABIES. Like, this is the obvious course of action. It’s not like he’s thinking HMM I WONDER HOW WE WOULD LOGISTICALLY WORK THIS no, he’s absolutely positively sure that Wash would be the manny.

In short: I love that man.

Jayne would originally be really grouchy about the kids screaming at night when they’re teething and would try to avoid them and not let anyone see he spoils them rotten. And Kaylee and Simon would have a little girl who doesn’t like engines or medicine but she has Jayne absolutely wrapped around her little fiinger after he catches her disassembling one of his pistols at age five. And he takes her under his wing and teaches her all about guns and calls her his Little V (short for Little Vera) and the nickname eventually spreads to the rest of the crew.
